Do you rely on Facebook to update you with everything you may need to know about your friends and family?
How often have you told someone something and said "Yeah I saw it on Facebook"?
Do you use it to remember your friends birthdays? I do, to some extent, only my closest friends do I remember their birthday off by heart.
A perfect example of some people's dependence on this site is my friends recent prank, she changed her date of birth so it would appear to be her birthday on all of her friends walls causing many to leave her birthday wishes so sure that if Facebook stated it it must be so.
Confrontations no longer take place in real life instead being orchestrated over Facebook, spreading the word about your recent breakup is as simple as changing your relationship status.
Whats the point of going out if you cant boast about it or post pictures?
Why waste credit on a text message when you can write on the persons wall?
Meaningless statuses plague your news feeds __________ is watching Xfactor.... OK well watch it don't go on Facebook and post about it.
Facebook does indeed seem to have addictive qualities, so many complain that their work does not get done due to the amount of time they spend surfing Facebook, constantly hitting the home button.
*Checks Facebook* Whoa! and to emphasise my point a fight has broken out on my news feed, apparently This girl sent this guy a private message who in turn posted it as his status and as a result it has started a cursing match.
I would post it for you, but my eyes are burning at the foul language being used so I better not.
Well that was my collection of incoherent thoughts, feel free to post your feelings on the trend that is Facebook.
Your presentation was interesting and current. It covered a lot of information and was relevant to today's society. Good job well done.
